About me...
My goal is to help you understand what’s going on, realise your inner strengths and move to a healthier mindset. Together, we can look at the recurring patterns in your life and find a way forward. I can offer you a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can achieve lasting personal change.
You might want to focus on a specific problem that is troubling you, or you may simply have a sense that you are not feeling yourself, and things are ‘not quite right’. I work flexibly and creatively to help you find ways to manage and overcome difficulties with a variety of approaches.
I use a targeted approach to set goals for your therapy. This helps to signal when therapy is over, saving you time and money and helping you get better faster.
Although I have trained as a Transactional Analyst, and additionally have had brief training as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, I also draw on the humanistic, relational, psychodynamic and existential approaches. Creativity is also central to my approach.
Fees: I charge £60 per 50-minute session or £75 for a couple.

Coaching
Just like many of you, I’m a mother, partner, friend, and professional. And just like you, I want to live life to the full, which is how I discovered coaching.
It helped me to harness my potential, identify a fulfilling future and gave me the focus and determination to make it happen. That’s why I know I can help you to reach your goals and live the best version of yourself!
With more than 20 years experience as a therapist, teacher and supervisor, I have now added coaching skills to my extensive training. Coaching has taught me – and can teach you - how to:
· Eliminate Imposter Syndrome and overcome self-doubt
· Move forward with hopes and dreams
· Creatively sidestep obstacles
· Turn your inner-critic into your inner-coach
· Set realistic goals with creativity
· Enhance resilience.
I use evidence-based strategies and tools that work, backed by my real-world experience in both therapy, mentoring and business coaching with the BBC.
My clients range from young professionals just starting out in life to empty nesters looking at the next chapter of their lives, to therapists who want to enhance their own business.
Together, we work to create positive change and a clear vision going forward. I love working with clients to improve their relationships, their mental and emotional health, their financial situation and their confidence.

Client Testimonials
The sessions helped me by providing techniques to help manage my mental health. Another plus was it has been a real benefit to have an impartial, trusted advisor to confide in and discuss my mental health issues with.
I learned a lot about myself working with Jenny. During our work together, she guided me to learn how to break out of the unhelpful patterns I kept replaying. I now feel equipped to move my life on in a new direction.
Thank you for your insightful guidance. I really appreciate all the work that I've done with you so far in supervision. I find it really beneficial.
It’s important to check in with yourself regularly, to see what’s really going on. Talking to Jenny helped me put things into perspective.

No Place Like Home
I recently attended a history exhibition at the London Irish Centre in Camden, celebrating 50 Years of the Irish in Britain. It focussed on the spoken word memories of native Irish people who left their homeland for different reasons: unemployment, limited access to education, economic hardship, religious conflicts, lack of political autonomy and homophobia to name but a few.
I found the exhibition both inspirational and heartbreaking in equal measure. Unfortunately, not all transitions were smooth. Some Irish migrants faced discrimination or hardships such as homelessness and prejudice. From the construction workers who stepped onto English soil speaking only Irish; to bands like the Pogues, who popularised traditional tunes; to the Northern Irish woman who helped organise lesbian and gay ceilidhs when she moved to Britain.
“Ar scáth a chéile a mhaireann na daoine
It is in the shelter of each other that people live” — 50 Years of the Irish in Britain.
Mount Errigal, the highest mountain in County Donegal, Ireland and one of my favourite climbs.
